Adding Media and Attachments to Your Messages on TeamSnap ONE
It’s easy to share just about anything related to your team in Chat – whether it’s a highlight reel, a game plan document, or a crucial photo.
Here's how to add media and attachments to your conversations in TeamSnap ONE:
1. Open the Desired Conversation:
- Navigate to the Messages tab in your TeamSnap ONE app.
- Tap on the specific Team Chat, Direct Message, or Group Conversation where you want to send your message.
2. Access the Attachment Options:
- Look for the text input box at the bottom of the conversation screen where you type your messages.
- To the left or right of this text box, you will find a paperclip icon (📎). This is your attachment button.
- Tap on the paperclip icon.
3. Select the Type of Attachment:
- Tapping the paperclip will open a menu, giving you options for the type of attachment you wish to add. Options include:
- Photo/Video: Allows you to select images or video clips from your device's gallery.
- Take Photo/Video: Opens your device's camera to capture a new photo or video instantly.
- Document/File: Lets you browse and attach files from your device's storage (e.g., PDFs, spreadsheets, word documents).
- Other specific options: Depending on your device and the app version, there might be other specialized attachment options.
4. Choose and Send Your Attachment:
- Select the desired file(s) from your device's storage, or capture your media using the camera.
- Once selected, the attachment will often appear in the message input area, or you'll see a preview.
- You can typically add a text message to accompany your attachment in the input box.
- Finally, tap the Send button (often a paper airplane icon or similar) to send your message with the attached media or file.
