Overview of Message Types on TeamSnap ONE

TeamSnap ONE offers a variety of ways for members, parents, players, and administrators to communicate effectively within their sports teams and organizations. Messages can be sent by any member or contact with access to a team. Administrators have the ability to send messages to all members of their team or organization, regardless of whether their invitations have been accepted.

Here's an overview of the different message types available in TeamSnap ONE:

1. Team Chat

Team Chats are a continuous communication channel for all team members. Team Chats can be found in the messaging tab.

2. Direct and Group Messaging

Direct messages allow members to privately message one or more recipients. This feature provides a secure and private channel for one-on-one conversations or small group discussions.

3. Alerts

Alerts are a distinct message type used for urgent or important announcements, sent exclusively by organization administrators. Recipients receive these alerts through a separate conversation within the Messages tab and, optionally, via email, depending on the sender's preference. Alerts can not be responded to.

Notes: Team chats, direct messages, group messages and alerts can all be:
