What to do when you entered the wrong Date Of Birth during onboarding
Incorrect Date of Birth Displayed? A Quick Fix!
Sometimes during the onboarding process, or when setting up your profile in TeamSnap ONE, you might accidentally enter the date of birth of your child or player instead of your own. This can lead you to end in a dead end as our app is only available for ages 13 and over.
Don't worry, fixing this is usually very simple!
The Quick Fix: Force Close and Re-open the App
This action clears the app's temporary memory and allows it to reload fresh data.
Here's how to force close and re-open the TeamSnap ONE app on your device:
For iOS (iPhone/iPad) Users:
- From the Home Screen: Swipe up from the very bottom of your screen and pause your finger in the middle of the screen.
- For iPhones with a Home button (older models): Double-click the Home button.
- You will see an "App Switcher" or "Multitasking" view, showing all your recently used apps as cards.
- Find the TeamSnap ONE app: Swipe left or right through the app cards until you locate the TeamSnap ONE app.
- Force close the app: Swipe the TeamSnap ONE app card upwards and off the top of the screen. This effectively closes the app.
- Return to your Home Screen and tap the TeamSnap ONE app icon to open it again.
For Android Users:
- Access Recent Apps:
- For devices with gesture navigation: Swipe up from the bottom of your screen and hold for a moment, then release.
- For devices with navigation buttons: Tap the "Recent Apps" button (often a square icon, three vertical lines, or cascading rectangles) usually found at the bottom of your screen.
- You will see a list or carousel of your recently opened apps.
- Find the TeamSnap ONE app: Swipe left, right, up, or down (depending on your device's interface) until you locate the TeamSnap ONE app.
- Force close the app: Swipe the TeamSnap ONE app card off the screen (usually upwards or to the side, or tap an "X" icon if available). This closes the app.
- Return to your Home Screen and tap the TeamSnap ONE app icon to open it again.
